Moving and Easter Fun

Uhauling from Calgary to Taber

We were overwhelmed and grateful by the extra help we received as we packed up shop in Calgary and relocated our clan to the sunny south of Taber Alberta. Our adventure will only last 9 months and so we've jumped right into life here.   Settling in was made easier by help from family.  It was tough being in a new place without Brent for the first week, yet my in-laws made us feel right at home.  My sister-in-law, Laura happily introduced us to all the programs for kids. Our first week we explored new parks, the stay and play children's program, the local library program while overall loving the sun!

Here are a few pictures of some of the fun we had at our new home.

Artists at work

Like a bunny hiding eggs, Easter snuck up on us quickly. Yet the kids were thrilled to colour and hunt for Easter Eggs at Aunt Laura's house. It was a hopping bopping party! Mikyla fell asleep on the way to Laura's house so she didn't get the first taste of dipping eggs, but we saved her some for later. Ethan and Sam just loved dipping their eggs. One after another they were amazed to behold their newest creations. When it was finished both were a little sad, until they realized their were eggs to be found outside! Mikyla woke just in time for the excitement. She quickly caught on to the hunt and eagerly searched for the next egg. Ethan knew too well how to Easter egg hunt and so his basket piled up in no time!  Thanks for the fun everyone!
